Kings Christian Private Satellite Program provides families the support of our full school community while maintaining the flexibility and adaptability that homeschooling has to offer. Private Satellite students can enjoy optional days on campus, full library use, the choose to play on our competitive sports teams, and the ability to take High School classes on campus each semester.
Private Satellite students are featured in the yearbook alongside their respective classmates and each student is invited to participate in all school functions including but not limited to Sadies, Formal, yearly retreat, class field trips, and graduation ceremonies. Not only do members of the Private Satellite program get the opportunity to take part in these traditional academic milestones, but they also have the opportunity to attend family-inclusive, program-specific field trips and events like pool parties, a talent showcase, and trips to places like the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Through these opportunities, satellite students get to enjoy the best of both worlds - getting the one-on-one individualized education that homeschooling provides while simultaneously providing opportunities for socialization with like-minded peers growing to be Crusaders for Christ!
Families in our satellite program can benefit from our legal and educational aid, monthly parent-coordinator meetings, our maintenance of student transcripts on-campus, annual standardized testing (including PSATs), and curriculum advice. It is our hope that through this, we can support a families’ choice to educate their children in a Christian home environment while providing a consistent means of accountability and support.
Additionally, our ACSI and WASC accreditation means that when your student graduates from high school, they will have earned a diploma that is accepted and acknowledged by all colleges and universities. The program fulfills all state requirements, meaning that you can spend less time jumping through legal hoops, and more time focusing on your child.
