Where the Love of God is Incorporated Into Every Aspect of the Classroom
Using a combined focus on academic growth and social development, Pre-Kindergarten at Kings Christian School lays a solid foundation for children to succeed as they grow and prepare to move on to kindergarten and beyond. Biblical principles and the love of Christ are incorporated into every aspect of the classroom through both curriculum and example. Our educated, caring teachers hope to aid you as a family in “training up a child in the way they should go.”
The class, which caps at 24 total students every year to ensure each child gets the individualized attention they need, focuses on academics in the morning, exploring numbers, letters, and blends through fun weekly themes, and socialization and more individualized academic help in the afternoon. By the end of the year it is our hope that all students are able to write their own name, know and recognize each letter of the alphabet, and are able to count to at least 30. Beyond academics, we hope to help show each child that they are endlessly loved.
Morning only and full day options are available on a first come, first serve basis. Both portions begin together at 8:30 AM; morning only students are dismissed at noon, and full day students are dismissed at 3:15 PM.
Preschool Requirements
-Must be 4 by the end of September
-Must be fully potty trained
-Full time students must bring lunches
